Actor Vivek Oberoi recently spoke openly about politics within Bollywood and the industry. During this time, Vivek recalled a 20-year-old press conference in which he had revealed the bitter truth about the Bollywood industry. Vivek said he is happy that he was able to rise above all the things that happened to him.

In fact, recently Priyanka Chopra Jonas revealed that she was being sidelined in the Bollywood industry and not being cast in films. During an interview with the Hindustan Times, Vivek said, "I am happy that I was able to rise above this. I went through a kind of baptism of fire and survived it. But not everyone is so lucky. I have gone through a lot of things that were pointless.

The politics of many people, the lobbying that Priyanka also talked about. Unfortunately, this is the identity of our industry. This is the dark side of Bollywood, and I have seen it up close."

Speaking of Priyanka, Vivek praised her and said, "Going to another place and finding work is very inspirational for many people. She went out and found something different for herself, which became an important phase in her career."

During a conversation, Vivek stated, "I know that this can be very frustrating. Such things can make you feel very hopeless and troubled. You become tired. I felt this way even though I gave an award-winning performance in the film Shootout at Lokhandwala, but I didn't get any work for 14 months.

I was going through a bad time, and during that time, I constantly thought that I needed to do something different, something that is separate from the film industry." It should be noted that after not being successful in acting, Vivek turned his attention towards social service and business.

During the conversation, Vivek acknowledged that due to Bollywood politics, many times new talent is destroyed. Vivek said, "The industry is a very insecure place.

Artists are very fragile here, and in such situations, they become even more vulnerable. Whether it's a MeToo moment, casting couch, or just intimidation - all of these things can kill an artist's talent.

I am happy that these issues are being discussed, and these things will gradually disappear."
