THREE-DAY INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE CONCLUDES AT MANIPAL UNIVERSITY JAIPUR
Jaipur, 13 July : A three-day 2nd International Conference on Recent Advances in Fluid Mechanics and Nanoelectronics (ICRAFMN-2024) was organised at Manipal University Jaipur in association with Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) Bengaluru, NIT Uttarakhand, University Malaysia Phang Al-Sultan Abdullah, Malaysia, and Kaestsart University, Thailand. The Chief Guest of the conference was Padam Shri Awardee Prof. G. D. Yadav, former Vice Chancellor of ICT Mumbai, and guests of honour were Prof. Jitesh SB Gajjar from the University of Manchester, UK, and Prof. Chawalit Kittichaikarn from Kasetsart University, Bangkok.
Prof. G D Yadav discussed the wide applications of fluid mechanics and nanoelectronics in biological, physical, nuclear, and boundary layer fields. He exhorted that mathematics is the key to engineering and sciences.  More than 300 participants from across the globe, such as the US, Thailand, UK, West Indies, UAE, Germany, Tanzania, Bangladesh and Malaysia, have come to attend the conference. Participants from Universiti Malaysia, University of Dhaka, University of Education, Lahore, The University of the West Indies Mona, Universiti Sains, UMPSA, University Malaysia Phang Al-Sultan Abdullah, Kasetsart University, Bangkok presented their work.
The conference covered various topics such as experimental, analytical, and computational aspects of fluid mechanics and nanoelectronics in various fields of engineering and sciences. Prof. Kalpna Sharma, Convener ICRAFMN 2024 & HoD Department of Mathematics and Statistics welcomed all the participants and Speakers in the inaugural ceremony. Dr. Dharmendra Tripathi, Chairperson ICRAFMN 2024 from NIT Uttarakhand gave a brief about the conference. Prof. Jagannath Korody, Director, MIT Bangalore, Prof. Lalita Ledwani, Dean FOS, MUJ, Dr. Rajashekhar V. Choudhari, Convener, MIT Bangalore were also present during the inaugural ceremony.
Prof. Tanmay Basak from IIT Madras, Prof. Suman Chakraborty from IIT Kharagpur, Prof. P.G. Siddheshwar from Christ University, Prof. Gopal Chandra from Jadavpur University, Prof. Swaroop Nandan Bora from IIT Guwahati, Prof. B.V. Rathish Kumar, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Prof. Prasad Patnaik, IIT MADRAS, Prof. Ravi Kant Avvari, NIT Rourkela, Sundargarh, Prof. Satya Deo, University of Allahabad, Prayagraj, Prof. P. Danumjaya, Professor,  BITS-Pilani Goa, Dr. Abhishek Kr Tiwari, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, Prayagraj along with other speakers and participants from various IITs, NITs, Central Universities and reputed research institute presented their work. 270 research papers were presented at the conference.
