The rising temperature in Rajasthan over the past two days has resulted in an increase in heat. Yesterday, for the first time this season, the temperature reached 40 degrees Celsius.

In Banswara, the maximum temperature recorded yesterday was 40.3 degrees Celsius, making it hotter than places like Barmer and Jaisalmer. The weather center in Jaipur has predicted a possibility of a 3-degree Celsius increase in temperature over the next 4-5 days, with clear skies.

According to the report from the last 24 hours, after Banswara, cities like Barmer, Jaisalmer, and Jalor have also seen a maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius during the day.

These are the hottest days in all these cities this season. Generally, in Rajasthan's western districts, the temperature rises above 40 degrees Celsius in early April.

However, due to the back-to-back disturbances caused by the Western Disturbance, which brought rain, the temperature has been under control and remained below 38 degrees Celsius since the first week of March.

Yesterday, in Sikar, Jaipur, and Alwar, the maximum temperature was below 35 degrees Celsius, while in other places, it was above 35 degrees Celsius.

In Jaipur, this season saw the second instance of the temperature reaching 34.9 degrees Celsius. However, there is relief from the heat at night in these cities, with the minimum temperature dropping to 20 degrees Celsius or below.
