Rapper Raftaar Once Boosted Song Views with Fake Views

Several years ago, rapper Badshah faced allegations of using fake followers and boosting views on social media. Badshah had purchased 7.2 million views for one of his songs for INR 72 lakh.
Similarly, popular rapper Raftaar has now admitted that he also took such steps in his career but quickly realized that it was wrong. Currently, Raftaar is in the spotlight with his music album 'Phone Mila Ke.
Personally, I believe that real-world impact matters more than numbers. You can manipulate numbers, but it's essential to create meaningful connections.
In the early stages of my career, around 2013, I also engaged in such practices, but the song was eventually removed from the film.
It was a one-time occurrence, but the song vanished. After that incident, YouTube became stricter about fake views and related practices.
It has been ten years since then. As time passed, I realized that even if you show 100 million on social media, it's of no use if no one recognizes you on the streets. That feels worse.
Therefore, I suggest learning to endure and focusing on improving oneself. I aspire to become a legendary star, someone who people remember. My long-term goal is to stay trending, always adapting to new trends.
I want to consistently create good music, while the promotion methods may constantly change, I remain prepared. The experience has been rewarding, and I wanted to showcase this side of me.
I have collaborated with many artists, and I have personally sung my songs to those who have sung them. Somewhere along the line, I felt the need to explore this talent before it's too late.
There is a formula where you involve a female singer in some parts of the song, a male singer sings, and then I add my rap. I didn't want to continue with this formula. I wanted to use my song as an art, not as a trend.
By the way, before this, I have sung a song where Arijit Singh asked me to sing it. When he called me to his studio, I thought he might have called me for writing or rapping. But he asked me to sing my own song, which boosted my confidence significantly.
Credits are crucial because they lead to more opportunities. While payment may not always come, receiving credit opens doors for more work, and from there, the payment begins.
Obviously, we can't run a household without money. Credit is evidence of our hard work. In every song from my label, I give credit to everyone involved.
