Jaipur : In an effort to tackle passenger complaints effectively, the Railway Board has adopted a stringent approach. The board has initiated the Mission Zero campaign, aiming to take appropriate action against those responsible upon receiving any complaint related to trains or stations. This campaign covers four trains operating from Jaipur. The decision comes as a response to the deteriorating passenger facilities caused by the ever-increasing load on trains and railway stations. The objective of the campaign is to ensure a hassle-free travel experience for passengers.

Issuance of List of Designated Trains and Stations

In order to streamline the system and provide improved amenities, the Railway Board has released a list of designated trains and stations. Through orders issued to all zonal railways, specific instructions have been provided to enhance passenger services. Training sessions have been conducted for station and train officers, as well as employees, to ensure the smooth implementation of these measures.

The prescribed arrangements consist of the following:

  1. Regular cleaning of trains and stations to maintain hygiene standards.
  2. Ensuring cleanliness in train toilets, leaving no room for unhygienic conditions.
  3. Adherence to punctuality by operating trains on time, minimizing delays.
  4. Elimination of long queues at ticket counters to expedite the ticketing process.
  5. Upkeep of waiting halls, ensuring cleanliness and comfort for passengers.
