Raghav and Pariniti to Get Engaged at 6 PM Today
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha to Have Engagement Ceremony Today, May 13th, in Delhi.
The event has been kept completely private, with approximately 100 to 150 guests expected to attend. Delhi's Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab's Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will be present as guests at the ceremony.
In addition, Parineeti's close friend Sania Mirza, Karan Johar, and Parineeti's cousin sister Priyanka Chopra will also be attending. According to reports, the program is scheduled to begin at 5 PM.
As per The Times of India report, the engagement ceremony will take place at Kapoorthala House near Connaught Place in Delhi. The program will commence with the recitation of the holy Sukhmani Sahib, followed by an ardas (prayer).
At 6 PM, the engagement rituals will take place. The party will be themed around Bollywood, with Raghav wearing a design by Pawan Sachdeva and Parineeti showcasing Manish Malhotra's designer dress.
Priyanka Chopra has arrived in Delhi to attend her younger sister's engagement. She was spotted at Delhi Airport this morning.
However, Nick Jonas was not seen with her. Speaking to Pinkvilla yesterday, their mother Madhu Chopra expressed her joy that Parineeti is getting engaged now.
Arrangements for dinner have been made for the guests at the wedding. Parineeti's brothers Sahaj and Shivang have taken care of the food menu, which may include kebabs and vegetarian dishes.
Since prominent politicians are also attending the event, special attention has been given to the food. Before the wedding, both Parineeti and Raghav's homes have been decorated with lights.
Parineeti's Mumbai residence was seen illuminated last night, while Raghav's Delhi government residence has also been adorned with lights and flowers. It is evident that it is a significant day for both families.
According to reports, Parineeti and Raghav got to know each other when they were studying in England. Parineeti studied at Manchester Business School, while Raghav attended the London School of Economics.
Both were honored with the 'India UK Outstanding Achiever Honors' during an event. Seventy-five individuals were awarded at the event, which recognized students studying in British universities. Speaking of Parineeti Chopra's latest films, she appeared in movies like "Kode Naam Tiranga" and "Unchaai.
