Priyanka receives the same fee as an actor in "Love Again

After Citadel, Priyanka Chopra has received equal pay as her male co-star for her upcoming movie "Love Again". Priyanka, who has been advocating against the gender pay gap for years, expressed her happiness over this development.

She revealed that when she was offered the same fee as her co-star Richard Madden for Citadel, she couldn't believe it. In an interview, Priyanka said, "To be honest, I was amazed because I had never even thought about it or talked about it.

The difference between the fee that my male co-actors were getting and what I was getting was huge. I never really expected this to happen in my life

Priyanka further added, "My agents at United Talent Agency (UTA) told me that it was possible and they would go and speak to the makers on my behalf. The team spoke and it happened.

I was really surprised initially. But later I found out that Jennifer Salke, the head of Amazon Studios, was a woman herself." Priyanka said, "When women are in big positions in the industry, do they turn around and help other women and create opportunities for other women?

I think the answer to that is yes. I feel like I have come a long way now. It feels like I have broken a glass ceiling for myself, and it's a wonderful feeling.
