Luxury dog hostel opens in Jaipur

An unusual trend is on the rise in Jaipur where dog hostels are becoming more popular. These hostels are not for boys or girls, but for dogs.
There are dog hostels available throughout the city, offering facilities ranging from food and drink to air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms. The growing trend of dog hostels in the city is due to the sale of expensive dogs on EMIs(Equated Monthly Installments).
In Jaipur city, more than 1,000 dogs are bought on EMI every month by people, mostly from middle-class families. Due to the availability of loans and hostels, the number of dogs in homes has increased rapidly.
One Vaishali Nagar resident, Gajaraj, has opened a dog hostel in Mansarovar on Muhana Road. In an interview with Bhaskar, he explained that he purchased the property in Mansarovar for an office related to the property business.
He used to keep dogs at home and gradually, the number of pets increased to seven.Due to his love for dogs, he decided to open a dog hostel in a 350 square yard space instead of an office.
People started contacting him after seeing the dog hostel on social media, sharing their problems of keeping dogs at home. As a result, he decided to start a dog hostel to help those people who face difficulties in keeping dogs at home.
