Lottery for Dairy Booths in Jaipur: Over 19,000 Applications Received for 563 Booths
The Jaipur Municipal Corporation has conducted a lottery this afternoon for 563 applications received for dairy booths in the Greater Area. Four applicants have been shortlisted for one booth, meaning four times the number of people have been selected for the allocation of dairy booths. The selected individuals will now be called for an interview starting from April 10.
The lottery was conducted in the presence of Commissioner Mahendra Soni and Additional Commissioner Praveen Meel at the Greater Municipal Corporation Headquarters. A total of 19,905 applications were received for 563 dairy booths in the Greater Area. After scrutinizing the applications, more than 7,000 were rejected, and the remaining 11,235 applications will be included in the lottery.
2252 people have been shortlisted, The lottery drawn today by the Municipal Corporation has shortlisted four times the number of applicants, which is 2,252 people out of 563. The lottery was drawn according to the category (ST, SC, Divyang, ex-servicemen, and general) as the booths were reserved for different categories. The shortlisted applicants will now be called for an interview, and allocation will be made based on the numbers obtained in the interview. Those with higher numbers will be given priority in the allocation of the booths.
