Harassment of a young woman reported in Jaipur
A case of harassment of a young woman has been reported in Jaipur where she was walking home with her younger brother.
According to the police, the incident occurred on the night of April 8, around 10:30 pm, when the 21-year-old resident of Tonk Road was walking home with her brother near the WTP behind the Service Line.
A group of three or four boys in a car pulled up alongside her and made indecent gestures and comments. When she raised her voice, the boys fled the scene in their car.
The victim later filed a complaint at the Jawahar Circle police station based on the car's license plate number. The police are currently searching for the perpetrators and reviewing CCTV footage from the area.
