ED Raids YCA Production's Office in Search Operation
ED Conducts Raid at LYCA Production House's Chennai Office, Known for Blockbuster Films like Pushpa, RRR, and Ponniyin Selvan.
The Chennai offices of LYCA Production House, renowned for producing big-budget films such as Pushpa, RRR, and Ponniyin Selvan, were raided by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
According to reports from Asia Net, the ED initiated the search operation against the production house on allegations of money laundering. Searches are being conducted at approximately eight LYCA offices in Chennai.
So far, the production house has not released an official statement regarding the raids and allegations. LYCA Productions is an Indian entertainment company founded by Subaskaran Allirajah in 2014.
It has produced several notable Tamil films, including Rajinikanth's "2.0" and Mani Ratnam's recent "Ponniyin Selvan Part 1" and "Ponniyin Selvan Part 2.
In 2020, LYCA Productions was involved in the production of Rajinikanth's film "Darbar." In the Hindi film industry, they have also produced films like Janhvi Kapoor's "Good Luck Jerry" and Akshay Kumar's "Ram Setu.
