Congress President calls meeting today to discuss pilot issues.
The Congress party has become more aggressive internally over Sachin Pilot's hunger strike due to the BJP's inaction against corruption during its rule.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has called a meeting in Delhi to discuss the issue. The meeting will focus on the Rajasthan issue. A decision needs to be made about whether to issue a notice to Sachin Pilot or keep the matter pending.
Rajasthan Congress in-charge, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, has already given a report to the Congress President on the Rajasthan issue.
On Wednesday, Randhawa met Kharge and gave his feedback on the matter. Today, the strategy of the party on the Pilot case will be discussed in the meeting.
Pilot's opponents in the Congress want the issue of the hunger strike to be treated as a party dissident activity and action to be taken against him.
Randhawa, the Congress in-charge, had already issued a written statement on April 10, calling Pilot's hunger strike a party dissident activity and calling for talks.
The Congress had previously labeled Pilot's hunger strike as an anti-party activity. It is the party's responsibility to take action against dissident activity. Kharge will make a decision on whether Pilot's hunger strike was a party dissident activity or not.
The state in-charge has submitted an initial report. A decision needs to be made whether to issue a notice to Pilot or keep the matter pending.
