College professor robbed in Jaipur

A case of robbery involving a college professor has come to light in Jaipur. The culprits took him to a deserted place on a bike under the pretext of using the lift, where they beat him and stole his bag before fleeing. The victimized professor reported the incident to the Airport police station and an FIR has been filed.
The police have started searching for the robbers. According to the police, the incident of loot happened with Rajesh Kumar (35), a resident of Keckri, Bhilwara. Kumar is a professor at a homeopathic college in Keckri. On March 28, he arrived in Jaipur by flight from Delhi for a college meeting. At around 11:30 pm, he was waiting for a bus to Keckri under the Sanganeer bridge. After waiting for about 45 minutes, a bike rider approached him and offered to give him a lift.
The rider took him to a street before Haldi Ghati instead of Kumbha Marg, as promised earlier, and along with his accomplice, beat him up and robbed him of his bag. The victimized professor reported the matter to the police and an FIR has been filed.
