BREATHTAKING AERIAL STUNTS OF THE ARTISTS IN ‘ROZÉO’ SPELLBIND THE AUDIENCE
After performing at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics 2024, now for the first time in India, Unique aerial show ‘RoZéO’ organised at Jaigarh Fort in Jaipur,By the French company, ‘Gratte Ciel’, renowned for aerobatic and meditative presentations .
Jaipur, 10 October : A unique aerial show, ‘RoZéO’ was organised by the French Institute in India in collaboration with Alliance Française Network in India at Jaigarh Fort in Jaipur. In the show, French company ‘Gratte Ciel’, known for aerobatic and meditative presentations, spellbinded the people of Jaipur with its breathtaking aerial stunts and acrobatic performance. The show was organised in the Subhat Niwas courtyard of Jaigarh Fort, where the performance of the artists swinging in the air on a 6-meter-high metal pole in the sky left the audience in amazement and contemplation. The poeticism of the artists and the aerial movements rendered a truly unique experience for the audience present at the venue. This 42-minute performance ‘RoZéO’ with live musicians, electronic and field recordings is created by Stéphane Girard and Camille Beaumier, with compositions by Pauline Frémeau and costumes by Anne Jonathan.
It is worth noting that RoZéO premiered in 2023 and has since gained international acclaim for its dreamlike choreography Following their Olympic performance, as part of the opening show curated by artistic director Thomas Jolly, the company has solidified its reputation for engaging communities with mesmerizing productions that leave a lasting impact. This aerial show is organised in India for the first time. Apart from Jaipur, these shows are also being held in other cities of India. The tour kicked off in Chandigarh on 5 October, in Ahmedabad on 16 October, and in Pune on 20 October. Finally, the tour concludes in Pondicherry on 26 October.
