In the month of October, many important festivals are falling from Dussehra, Diwali. In such a situation, banks will remain closed for 12 days including Saturday and Sunday. The officials have appealed to the customers to make plans after seeing the holidays.

Banks will remain closed on these dates

Joginder Singh, vice-president of Baroda UP Bank Officers Association, said that the banks will remain closed for six days in the month of October due to weekly holidays. On the other hand, banks will remain closed for six days due to festivals. Banks will remain closed from October 3 to 5 due to Durga Puja. On the other hand, banks will remain closed from 22 to 24 due to weekly holidays and Diwali.

Bank officials appealed

Banks will remain closed on October 30 and 31 due to weekly holidays and Chhath. Bank officials have appealed to the customers to complete the necessary work on bank working days keeping in mind the holidays.

Schools will also remain closed

Apart from banks, in the month of October, there will be a holiday for many days in schools. Will stay Actually, there are many festivals including Diwali, Dussehra, and Karva Chauth, on which schools will be closed. Apart from schools, there will be a holiday in government offices as well.

SBI provides wheelchairs to the handicapped and elderly

The Railway Colony branch of State Bank of India has taken a good initiative for the differently-abled and elderly customers. Taking a step in this direction, the bank is providing wheelchair service to these customers so that they do not face any problems in commuting inside the bank for banking work.

The number of wheelchairs will be increased

Madhulika Mishra, the chief manager of the branch, said that we have provided a wheelchair in the branch at present. Along with this, all the employees of the branch have been directed to provide banking services to such customers on a priority basis. In the future, the number of wheelchairs will be increased as per the requirement, so that banking services can be made available to differently-abled and elderly customers easily.
