A Special Team to be Formed in Rajasthan for the Gangster Murder Case

Following a surge of firing incidents and crimes in Rajasthan, the police are set to form a special team that will take immediate action in cases involving murder, violent incidents, gangsters involved in daily shootings, and rape of minors.

Named as the Quick Investigation Disposal Team, the announcement was made by CM Ashok Gehlot during the budget session.

The Additional SP (in-charge) and Inspector (assistant in-charge) will lead this team, which will be established in every district with Crime Branch of the Police Headquarters.

The team will operate round-the-clock for seven days, and will work under the guidance of DGP Umesh Mishra.

As per the directives of DGP Umesh Mishra, the Crime Branch has started the process of forming special investigation teams in every district of the state to promptly and accurately investigate sensitive crimes.

The Quick Investigation Disposal Team will work for 24 hours a day for 7 days in each district.

The team will be assigned to investigate criminal incidents during three shifts of 8-8 hours and will collect all technical and on-site evidence. This will enable speedy completion of investigations, leaving no room for the guilty to escape punishment in serious crimes.
